I’m Casey, a system developer, designer, and consultant. My first computer was a hand-me-down DOS machine I got when I was eight. I’ve been learning, breaking, fixing, and building ever since. This isn’t just a profession for me. It’s my passion.
I started with very little and learned by doing. That’s still how I work: resourceful, practical, honest, and focused on helping people get real results.
I come from generations of Navajo (Diné) artisans, and that inheritance shapes how I build. The same eye for balance, flow, and detail that’s been passed down through my family is the one I bring to user flows, design, and every system I touch. Technology, to me, is a creative pursuit. It takes vision, foresight, and care.
More about my background
From a hand-me-down computer to leading tech for an international firm. Here’s how it happened.
-
1998
First computer
Got my first computer and the spark hit immediately: the sense that anything was possible if you could just figure out how it worked.
-
1999
You’ve Got Mail
First AOL dial-up connection. That screech of the modem connecting opened up a whole new world and started my internet discovery journey.
-
2000
First cell phone
Nokia 3360 on Verizon - having a computer in my pocket, even a small one, felt like the future arriving early.
-
2001
First HTML project: Neopets
Discovered Neopets and the HTML editor for shops and pet pages. Hand-coded my first custom layouts: fonts, colors, tables, the works. First time writing code felt like actual power. I was hooked.
-
2003
Formal start: Kennedy Middle School
Started computer classes at Kennedy Middle School in Barstow, CA. First time sitting in a classroom and being taught what I’d already been teaching myself.
-
2006
ISD Certificate Training, Delta County
Completed formal certificate training through ISD in Delta County, building a foundation in computer hardware, software, and support.
-
2008
A+ Certified, Bay De Noc Community College
Earned my CompTIA A+ certification through ISD and enrolled in the Network Administration associates program at Bay De Noc Community College.
-
2011
Issues & Answers Network
Joined as an Interviewer and quickly moved up. By 2015 I’d gone from individual contributor to Senior Supervisor, managing a team of 60–100, coordinating multi-site projects and building training programs from scratch. In 2018 I moved into call center operations support.
-
2016
Interlink Computer Technology
Started in sales and bench support at Interlink in Iron Mountain, MI, focusing on Apple device repair and resale. In April 2017 I moved into a Network Administrator role, taking ownership of virtual servers, a Windows/Linux server stack, and a WISP network serving 400+ customers.
-
2018
Associate Degrees, Bay de Noc Community College
Graduated in May 2018 with an Associate in Applied Science in CIS: Programming & User Support, then completed an Associate in Arts in Network Administration in December 2019. Dean’s List for both.
-
2019
System Developer, Issues & Answers (now Logit US)
Moved from operations into the lead technical role for US operations. When Logit US acquired Issues & Answers in 2022, the company became an international market research firm of ~500 employees. Responsible for network infrastructure, database administration, and full hardware and software platform lifecycle.
-
2020
